TM Extra Product Options Integration Product Page Apple Pay

    Hello! We use TM Extra Product Options as all of our products are personalised.

    The use of Apple Pay / Google Pay on the product page is awesome, however when it’s used it doesn’t capture the data that is in the extra product options field.

    Here’s an example of the product page.

    It’d be great for this to work together as it would increase our conversion rate!

    Is the Name text field on your product page an example of a personalized field generated by the TM Extra Product plugin?

    Compatibility with plugins like that are tricky because Apple Pay and GPay must open synchronously after a button click. You can’t perform any calls to the server after the button is clicked but before the wallet opens. That limits some of the data that can be included.

    PayPal doesn’t have the same limitation since it’s backend technology is different than Stripe’s.

    Setting to resolved. We are actively working on an update that adds support for the WooCommerce Extra Product Options plugin.
