Disabled in the server configuration

    WPPOOL

    I just updated WP Dark Mode to 1.2.6 on six sites. Everything went fine on four sites but on two sites I received this message:

    r is disabled in the server configuration by allow_url_fopen=0 in /home/nealumph/public_html/gccglobalclimatechange/wp-content/plugins/wp-dark-mode/includes/class-hooks.php on line 69

    Warning: file_get_contents(https://wppool.dev/wp-dark-mode-promo-black-friday.json): failed to open stream: no suitable wrapper could be found in /home/nealumph/public_html/gccglobalclimatechange/wp-content/plugins/wp-dark-mode/includes/class-hooks.php on line 69

    The beginning of each line is behind the Menu so I could not copy the first few words.

    ? What does this mean?
    ? How do I fix it?
