TML not allowing users to log in through link underneath membership blog posts
-
Hi there
I am struggling with something with TML. I have added a new user to my site who is given access to all my posts on my membership site. When this user (or any user quite frankly) views a post (such as the link given above – though any blog post will produce the same result) – it comes up with a message underneath stating that one has to be a registered user to access the post. Underneath this are two buttons – LogIn and Register. The Register works fine and will give the user the opportunity to register for the site.
If the user clicks to log in and enters their information, the site apparently logs them in immediately showing them their account details – though not the post they had wanted to see. If they then try to get to see the post again, the system *again* shows them the two buttons asking to log in – not allowing them access to the post after all. The only way to get the post to show fully is to click the refresh button of the browser. But – save for that refresh – if one tries to log in yet again it will not help – no matter how many logins are done. I discovered this purely by mistake not knowing what to do. The system seems to log one in, but does nothing unless after having shown the post again – one then refreshes the page (which the user will not know to do).
Why does the log in end up not logging the person into the system and it will only do so if the user refreshes the page entirely? Do I need to tell my viewers that they have to manually refresh their page after having logged in because TML doesn’t log them in properly until they do so?
Any ideas how to fix this issue?
Thank you!
