• Hi Emre,

I have a folder under wp-content/cache called tmpWpfc. This is generating loads of folders and sub folders, and has some folder names relating to ‘calendar’ so it might be a conflict/issue with all-in-one event calendar plugin. It is also taking up a lot of disk space (around 2GB).

I can send you a screenshot if I’m not being very clear.

    Any help appreciated.

do you clear the cache often? You can learn the clear cache process via the following link.

if, say, a page is updated, doesn’t the existing cache get overwritten?

And if there are no website updates, don’t the cached files remain the same? Where are all the sub-folder coming from?

    Thanks

So the cache isn’t cleared very often, but the website isn’t updated often. HCan cache files build up with no changes? Could all-in-one event calendar plugin be the issue, as it also has some sort of caching and lots of the sub folder being created mention calendar

I have no idea. Somehow all the cache are deleted automatically as I see.

can I email you a picture of the folders being created in the tmpWpfc folder, and maybe you can tell me if it looks strange or normal?

it is expected result. but you can email me: https://www.wpfastestcache.com/contact-us/

First of all, thanks for the plugin.. it really like it.. However, I am seeing the same thing. My automated backups stopped because I ran out of space.. Had a 6.5 GB tmpWpfc folder that needed to get manually deleted. Things were there since June, untouched. Clearing the cache only got rid of the ‘all’ folder. Any reason why clearing the cache doesn’t get rid of the tmpWpfc folder? There must be a bug in the deleting of this folder

It is worth noting that this doesn’t happen on most of my sites.. I have it running on three others with no issues, however, one site just runs away on me with storage and that folder is never cleared. Just saw your note about not increasing CPU usage which makes sense, however, there must be an edge case where these files aren’t being deleted.
