    hello,
this happend not so long ago and was fixed with a update. But now since a few days it is happening again. The cpu per second use is very high, what can get my site shut off (siteground).

For now, I deactivated the plugin, what is not good but at least my site stays online.

Is there a fix in work or do you have an idea what I can do? I have the latest updated version 3.74.1

    Thanks in advance

    Hi there @steffidth,

Sorry to hear you have seen this high CPU issue return on your site. So far, I have not seen any other reports of this since the update that fixed it. I am double checking with the developers to see about this.

In the meantime, just to confirm, what do you currently have “Newsletter task scheduler (cron)” set to under MailPoet > Settings > Advanced? If you try switching to one of the other options, do you still see the same issue?

    Thank you!

    Hi there again,

I’ve heard back from the developers, and it looks like the high CPU issue may also occur if you currently have invalid API keys entered in your settings. Please double check to ensure you have a valid key entered:

Also, a fix for handling that particular scenario should be available in the next release of the plugin. Along with the steps above, please keep an eye out for the next update, and run the update when you have a chance.

    Thank you!

    Hi there @steffidth,

That’s great news! Thank you for getting back to us here to confirm, and I’m glad that resolved the issue.

Take care, and have a wonderful day!
