To switch from WordPress Multisite?

  • I have several sites on a WordPress Multisite installation.

    I am not sufficed with speed of my WordPress (maybe, because I have too many plugins installed). So, is it a good idea to extract the most important (having highest traffic) sites to a separate single WordPress installation?

    Note that separating a site does not increase available computing power, because it would anyway run on the same server.

  • Unlikely on its own to make a difference if the same server resources, but it may make it easier to optimize a single site at a time.
