TOC displayed in excerpt

Hi Steven,

i really like your plugin and i use it on all my websites, but it has a problem with excerpts.

When automatic toc position above first headline is activated the get_the_excerpt() function always includes the whole toc with subheadings in the generated excerpt.

The only workaround i found was to write EVERY excerpt myself or to disable automatic toc position and to add the [toc] shortcode into the first line of EVERY article myself.

Would it be possible to change how the automatic toc position adds the code so that it is recogniced as a shortcode and removed by get_the_excerpt() ?
