• When I put the code [toc] in my post, it does not show up in the post. Yesterday when I did this, it left in the actual “[TOC]” in my post but today, that is gone but there is still not table of contents. This is only on new posts. My older posts with tables of contents, already, still work.

I went to one of the old posts and looked at the code in the text and discovered a longer code. I tried copying and pasting that code into the text view of my new post but that didn’t work either.

Still not working but an interesting thing happened, between yesterday and today. Yesterday the text “[toc]” showed up in my public post. Today, it does not. So today, it recognizes it as a code but does the wrong thing with it.

I went ahead and submitted a question. I’m going to go ahead and publish that post. It only has two headings anyway. If my article, two articles ago, didn’t have a table of contents, that would not have been good.

Question: should I try uninstalling the plug-in and re-installing it? Would that put my existing posts at risk? The tables of contents are working in existing posts. It’s just new ones that are having the problem.
