Hi! The ez TOC works great on all of my posts, except the ‘ problem that I had and now solved.
But for some reason on my recent post it doesn’t get placed…
I use elementor and also tried placing the WordPress Table of Contents widget, but it also doesn’t show at the live page (Only in the editor) Any Ideas? I also thought it might be related with me using H2 headings in the post which I usually don’t but that is also not the case, because I removed them all and it still doesn’t work.

    Thanks ahead!

I have also noticed that when I view the post through the templates I can see the menu, but not in the live post or in the post editing screen…

P.S. The question is still relevant

    Solved!
After 2 hours of attempts figured out that the “-” sign in the first heading was the cause, as soon as I removed it and replaced it with “:” the TOC started to appear.

Also another problem I solved along the way is the color of the Title of the easy TOC “Table of Contents” – it was white on white for me.

To change the colors to your liking just choose the “Custom” theme option in the settings of the plugin and then you can use the coloring options in the Settings to tweak the colors. Hope this helps! ??

I am facing the same problem. I installed the plugin yesterday and after activated it, I did not see it in my most recent post and thought it is not working. However, today I realized that it is working for my other posts except for only the following one:

If anyone could help to enlighten me how I could solve this problem, I would be most grateful.
