For some reason, TOC is now showing the heading of reusable blocks used in the text and also the heading of the related posts plugin that I use at the bottom of the post. Aside from specifying in the general settings that any headings containing specific terms aren’t included in the TOC, is there any other way to stop it from doing this?

    Update 2:

Seems like TOC 2.0 is allergic to a heading called “Location”. Check this post: https://gatetoadventures.com/residence-inn-by-marriott-long-beach-downtown-review/

I have now deactivated your filter for ultimate addons for VC. It will show now a bunch of wrong headings, but at least all of the right ones as well. However, it won’t show the heading called “Location”. If I change it to Location2, it will show up, but as soon as I change it back. It’s gone again.

I know that there are word filters in the plugin settings, but the stuff I can edit, doesnt list a “location”

hmmm interesting… I’m guess you just deleted the filter correct? what happens if you undelete it and change .ult_tabs to .ult_tabitemname?

huh, I can not replicate this.

Can you please edit the page in the WP Post editor and scroll down to the Table of Contents section and make sure that Location is not in the excluded headings.

Do the same of the Table of Contents admin settings page (under the Settings admin nav group).

Was it being excluded in one of those settings?

    Not excluded here.

    Not excluded here either.

In neither of the settings area is anything excluded. The fields are completely empty.

I also tried to change it to .ult_tabitemname and it’s the same issue. It only shows like 4 headings. I disabled the filter again and now it shows all headings, including the ones which shouldnt but not the location heading in this post:

    Its so weird…

I’m going to remove the .ult_tabs for now. Not sure why that would cause such a wide exclusion on your site. Is there a way I can contact you directly?

What’s your preferred way of communication? Email? use da-peter /at/ gmx.de

just curious, any update on this?

Sorry, I had to switch to projects that bring in income. I just sent an email.
