Hi, thank you so much for implementing the Table of Content (TOC) blog element. Just a quick question: I would like to hide the TOC elements and just show the headline by default so that the user can decide to click on “show” or “hide”. My question: Is there an option to show or hide the TOC? Especially if the article is long and has many headings, I would prefer to show the TOC only if the user wants it. Thanks!

    Hello @geralddrissner,

    Thank you for contacting support.

This is currently not implemented in the plugin but it’s something we added to our repository as a potential improvement since some users have been asking for this.

We would recommend keeping a close eye on our changelog to see if this gets added in any of the future updates: https://rankmath.com/changelog

Don’t hesitate to get in touch if you have any other questions.

    This update is urgently needed

It’s obsolete if you can’t hide it

    Hello @gccs,

This is possible to get done currently with custom CSS and JavaScript if the current design doesn’t fit the design of your website.

To use this with a built-in option you would need to wait for our developers to assess the situation and as such, you can monitor the changelog mentioned above for that.

    Thank you.
