• I am testing this wiki plugin, but cannot get the TOC page to work.

Any page with the shortlink [yadawikitoc show_toc=”true”] results in a 503 service unavailable notice when trying to view the page.

There are no entries in the activated debug.log

I have disabled all plugins and the problem remains.

    I use studiopress genesis theme

    Any ideas?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi @dmccan,

Wow, sorry you are having troubles. Are there pages in the trash? Sometimes if there is one in the trash with the same name it can cause an issue for WordPress. Also, what are the contents of your TOC page? You might want to try just putting in something like “Hello World” to see if it is an issue in the links or something.

There is documentation at https://www.webtng.com but it sounds like you cannot access it? Not sure what is going on there. I tried it from outside my network and it worked.

If needed, I’m happy to do a screen share or something and we can look at it together.

    Regards,

    Hi Chris,

Don’t link directly to your TOC page. Instead, create a page called something like “Table of Contents” and put the TOC shortcode in this page. Then the contents of the TOC page will be automatically inserted into the page where the shortcode is placed.

The page with the title “TOC” is something that will get inserted into every page that you add the shortcode to. In the TOC page you would put links and other content (but not the TOC shortcode, because that would create an endless loop).

    Hope this helps,

    David
