Today shortcode not really today unless Flushed

    At the bottom of my homepage, I have the short code link to show the upcoming calendar events. But the short code will only show the events on the day that I flush the cache on the site. If I flush it today, tomorrow it will still show the old events until it is flushed. How can I get it show the actual today’s events without a daily cache flush.

    What type of caching are you using? Page level caching frequently isn’t aware of changes in the data that should be displayed, so if you have highly dynamic data, it may not be a great type of caching for you.
