    When I installed the update to the plugin this morning, several images stopped showing up on my site and also the Soliloquy slider plugin stopped working. When I disabled your plugin, everything worked again.

    The site is running the newest version of WordPress (5.4.2) on WPEngine.

    The following plugins are installed:
    Async JavaScript Version 2.20.03.01 by Frank Goossens (futtta)
    Autoptimize Version 2.7.3 by Frank Goossens (futtta)
    Classic Editor Version 1.5 by WordPress Contributors
    Contact Form 7 Version 5.1.9 by Takayuki Miyoshi
    Disable Feeds Version 1.4.4 by Samir Shah, BBpress support by Matthew Sigley
    Duplicate Post Version 3.2.4 by Enrico Battocchi
    EWWW Image Optimizer Cloud Version 5.4.1 by Exactly WWW
    Genesis Grid Version 1.4.2 by Bill Erickson
    List category posts Version 0.82 by Fernando Briano
    Login LockDown Version v1.8.1 by Michael VanDeMar
    Richard Attorneys Version 1.0 by Web Savvy Marketing
    Richard Practice Areas Version 1.0 by Web Savvy Marketing
    Search & Replace Version 3.2.1 by Inpsyde GmbH

    Soliloquy Version 2.5.9 by Soliloquy Team
    Soliloquy – Protection Addon Version 1.1.1 by Soliloquy Team

    I tried to create a support ticket on your website, but I just started using your free version and you require an order number to submit a ticket on your website. I did send an email to the email address on your website, so perhaps I will get a response to that. I also submitted a review and gave you a one star because I am hoping that it will get your attention as you have made it very difficult for new or non-premium users to submit issues to you. I will revise the review to 5 stars if you fix the issue because you do have a good plugin. You should reconsider your decision not to allow users without an order number to submit support tickets on your website because this issue with your update today is likely to affect many users and one would think that you would want any user to be able to notify you of the problem. You should allow users without an order number to submit a support ticket on your website.

    After checking on your testing website (thanks for providing it & setting my testing user as admin on it)

    The issue is Fixed!!

    It’s a very strange thing caused this error

    This error happens because of a comment inside our code that comment is normal and written without errors but, for an unknown reason it’s not accepted when using Autoptimize plugin

    We change that comment from

    /////////////////comment text//////////////

    to

    /*comment text*/

    I will release a new version 2.5 tomorrow with a fix for this

    You can see the testing site fixed with the last version I will post an update (the same message) to the forum topic

    Thank you
