Toggle to temporarily disable all notifications

    My site editor would like to be able to disable notifications for all users and subscribers and then re-enable them. She has good reason for this, which I won’t get into here.

    I know that there is the override checkbox in the meta box on each post’s edit page, but is there a way to do this site-wide that doesn’t involve disabling and reenabling the plugin?

    Toggling the plugin active and inactive is the only way I can think of to do this.

    We came up with a system in which we utilize the PER POST meta checkbox for omiting posts from the subscriber emails that works for her.
