Token Expired

  • I’ve been trying to use WordTwit for a while now with no success. Ever time it tries to send out a tweet, I get an expired token error. I don’t have any special settings, custom twitter apps or anything. Looking at my twitter account, WordTwit does not show up under allowed apps even though I have, multiple times, signed in through twitter an authorized the app.

    It sounds as if you’re hitting your limit per hour with the Twitter API. Wait a while and try again to see. If not, check your Twitter App settings to ensure they’re done correctly.

    I don’t have a Twitter App – I was under the impression I didn’t need to set that up if all I was doing was pushing out new post notifications.

    And as I’ve said, I click “log in using twitter” which takes me to twitter’s “authorize this app” page. I accept, but it never shows up under my list of authorized apps.

    What do you see in the WordTwit admin panel? Does it indicate that the Twitter account was authorized?
