• Guys what you are asking is only for Luxembourg, Norway, SF, NY, Atlanta, San Diego and a couple of other areas of the world with a per capita income multiple times superior to the rest of us (ok, that’s an extravagant approach, I know).

I understand that you offer tranquility with your automatic content translation and you should get paid for that. The problem is that often we don’t want automatic translation, we just want a website “copy” tool with a language detection and a switcher. And for that exact need, you are WAY too expensive.

If I were your PM, I would consider that HUGE customer pool that you throw away with your current product offer. Like WPML does btw, but you could do it better (lots of bloat on WPML).

Ask me to pay a “decent” amount for that non-automatic service (copy/switcher/detection) and then if I do want that automatisation/”tranquility”, you can have my extra payment / your upsell.

With a lot of respect to hard working creators like you, guys
    Bonne journée

Hi, Weglot Support here, we hope you are having a great day.

Thanks a lot for taking the time to write a review.

It seems that your experience with our product can be improved, and we’d be glad to help you, the best we can, improve your experience with our product.

Weglot by default tries to provide a complete up-to-date translated version of your website in minutes.
The process you’re mentioning seems different from the way Weglot works on your website, and Weglot could maybe be adapted to your demand thanks to a couple of features.
Indeed, Weglot proposes a “Display Automatic Translation” feature that allows you to display or not the automatic translations. This feature disabled, only the manually-reviewed (translations you’ve edited/validated) will be displayed on the translated versions.

Weglot proposes also a feature to exclude all your URLs by default, except the specific ones you want to keep translating. Learn more about this feature into the documentation below

Please contact our team at?[email protected], ask for Chris, our Head of Support,?so we can discuss your concerns in more detail.

    Best,

    The Weglot Team
