    Hi there,

Thank you for this great plugin and thank you for giving it out for free for people like me that only use it for a small personal project like me.

Could you please help me with this? Does that mean that the image are the only thing that is not backuped up or is it stopping the backup at this point?

Thanks again. Here is part of the protocol:

Sorry, please exclude backupwordpress-d... on your wp-content too ??

Again no luck. I have checked the file but it is not that big.

I am no WordPress or Web Expert…by no means. Is my WordPress maybe simply too big? Or might there be a Dropbox Limit for this?

    Thanks again.

    Here is the last protocol:

Please give me your server information ( BackWPUp-> Settings -> Infomation tab -> press Get Debug Info ).
Also, please try to change to another backup extension like Tar or TarGzip.
    I hope that help!

Tried Tar and TarGzip. Still the same mistake.

Here is the debug info. Want to let you know that I really much appreciate your time and knowledge.

As I know, the 32-bit version of PHP have filesize limitation ( <= 2GB ), if your blog is too big, maybe you need to split the large backup to other smaller backup jobs.
But I would suggest you contact your hoster and tell them if possible, upgrade your PHP from 32bit to 64bit version.

I hope that help you, if not, please let me know ??

    Thread Starter grobima

    (@grobima)

That was a great hint and is the reason for the error. Unfortunately my hoster isn’t offering the 64bit version yet.

However, maybe you could still help me by suggesting a good way how to split my backup into two parts. My largest folder is within the Upload folder within “WP Content” (3.8 GB out of 4.14 GB).

Under Files and Uploads I don’t see enough folders to exclude. Any ideas!

Once again thank you for helping me out!

    Hi @all,

we have a new version on github fixing bugs of 3.5.0. You can download it here https://github.com/inpsyde/backwpup/archive/master.zip.
Would be great if we get some feedback before we release on www.ads-software.com.

Thanks a lot for your help!

hmm, sorry my late reply, but actually there is nothing I can suggest with your PHP 32 bit version ??
If possible, please tell your hoster to upgrade to a 64bit version of PHP ??

I’m going to close this topic now, if you still have any question, just let me know ??
