    Hi Team,

We’re just trialling Product Feed Pro and it seems to be sending things across nicely. We were missing the “description” field, so added that and linked it to “short description”. It’s creating the feed, but Google is complaining with “Too many column delimiters” in the product feed file and just wondered what to do?

Tried changing the delimiter to TAB as well without success.

    Google Merchant center says:

“The product data you submitted in your feed does not meet the?product data specification, so your products were not approved. Fix and update your feed to display products to customers. To see all issues, go to?Diagnostics.”

    Best Regards,
    Paul

  • Hi Paul,

Thanks for using our plugin and reaching out to us. It is probably easiest when you switch to a XML file format instead of CSV. Is there a specific reason why you would like it to be CSV?

Hi, many thanks for the quick reply. We’ve moved on a bit now testing more, and have switch to XML. It seemed to default to CSV but we’ve changed it.

In the Google Merchant Center, we’ve got the feed setup as “Auto Detect” and it did originally work but gave the original error, but now it’s moved on and is getting stuck on “Invalid or missing required attribute: id”, but it seems to have content in there linked in Woo with the default field link of “Product ID”. Manually downloading the files has it populated ok which is even stranger.

The first row for example has g:id
value of: 155586 so they aren’t blank which is even stranger.

    Hi,

Did you follow the basic steps as laid out in this Google Shopping tutorial? https://adtribes.io/setting-up-your-first-google-shopping-product-feed/

Can you share with us the following:

    1. Your product feed URL
    2. The plugin debug.log URL, this is how you can retrieve the URL: https://adtribes.io/send-your-debug-log-to-support/

    Hi,

We removed the plugin, deleted the Google feed and did it all over again and it worked. Much appreciated for the support.

    Best Regards,

    Paul
