Too many custom post types slowing down the site

  • New site for a client is very slow. Using a different test server, which could be the problem… or is it that we are using 7 custom post types each with custom meta and admin panels?

  • I doubt that it would be the content types. I’ve recently made a site that had over 20 custom content types, and there was no problem with performance. What is the performance like when you run the site on a live server?
