Too many html validation error for mesocolumn theme

  • hi,
    i am using mesocolumn theme and when i tried to validate my pages, i got too many errors for each pages.

    i will give you few example.
    Error 1:

    Warning Line 366, Column 35: Consider using the h1 element as a top-level heading only (all h1 elements are treated as top-level headings by many screen readers and other tools).

    Error 2:

    Line 368, Column 166: Bad value https://sharplesson.com/author/Cool Yash/ for attribute href on element a: Illegal character in path segment: not a URL code point.
    …author/Cool Yash/” title=”Posts by Cool Yash” rel=”author”>Cool Yash</span>
    Syntax of URL:
    Any URL. For example: /hello, #canvas, or https://example.org/. Characters should be represented in NFC and spaces should be escaped as %20.

    Error 2:
    Line 606, Column 6: Stray end tag div.

    there are many more, please do assist me.

    no clue, its html5 validated in my end so it must be some plugin or edit error in your end.

    i liked your theme but unfortunately it is showing validation error, i tried on https://validator.w3.org/
    . i disabled plugins but still it is showing same problem.

    i changed to other theme, but i want mesocolumn. Do assist if you can..

    sorry for inconvenience, i already mentioned that i changed the theme. for the solution of problem i again shifted to mesocolumn.

    know you can check it again.for example i am linking one of my page.

    Yes, regarding the error (not the warnings), there seems to be an issue when the author has a space in their username. URLs aren’t meant to have spaces and it’s flagging up as an error in the W3C validator.

    sry, the theme is originally not css validate. too much rule need to apply to be 100% css validate.

    No, and many “errors” aren’t even really errors at all – but due to browser differences or other oddities necessary to make a site work across multiple devices and platforms.

    Yes it does. It wouldn’t pass theme review if it didn’t.
