• Hi,

    After rebuiding a wp site with a third party theme and plugins supercache is not working as smoothly as it did before.

    There always seems to be about double the amount of legacy files as supercached files.

    One effect of the new build is that the permalink structure of the posts has changed so..

    mysite.com/2012/07/20/news/postname/

    Has resolves to…

    mysite.com/article/postname/

    So any vistor coming to the site via the old link structure the page is not cached.

    Also there seems to be alot more of this in the debug file…

    Supercache caching disabled. Only using wp-cache. Non empty GET request.

    I assume because more query strings are being used.

    Would these things explain the build up of legacy files over supercached files? Is there anyway round it?
