Too many orders with pending payment status

To start, can you please clarify for us, for these orders where the status is Pending payment, are you still receiving the funds in PayPal?

Next, can you please share a copy of your System Status Report with us? You can find it via WooCommerce > Status. Select “Get system report” and then “Copy for support”. Once you’ve done that, you can paste it into your reply here.

Thanks for sharing the System Status Report and screenshot of the Orders page.

I had a closer look at your site’s checkout page, and noticed there are a few errors on the page:

These errors suggest there is a plugin or theme conflict on this site, which might explain why there are payment errors on this site but not your other sites.

The best way to determine if there is a conflict is to:

• Temporarily switch your theme to Storefront
• Disable all plugins except for WooCommerce
• Repeat the action that is causing the problem

If you’re not seeing the same problem after completing the conflict test, then you know the problem was with the plugins and/or theme you deactivated. To figure out which plugin is causing the problem, reactivate your other plugins one by one, testing after each, until you find the one causing conflict. You can find a more detailed explanation on how to do a conflict test here.

Please let us know how that goes or if you still have problems with pending payments.

The error has been restored. I need 1 week to confirm that there will be no orders with pending payment status.

Thanks for the screenshot. The empty Order notes section suggests to me that there was a PHP-related error when the customer checkout out the product, which might explain why the transaction went through to PayPal but did not register in WooCommerce.

Can you please confirm if you managed to run the conflict test?

Also, do you see any fatal-errors log from July 6th, 2021 (2021-07-06) by selecting it from the dropdown menu at WooCommerce > Status > Logs, which is the same date as Order #8696?

Thanks for the screenshot and log detail. The error seems to be either due to an invalid card being used or due to a failure to validate your business entity.

Could you log in to Paypal using your business account and check if there are pending errors or actions that you need to complete?

I can log in to business account paypal.

How do I check for errors?
Are there any guidelines or tips?

I have 5 woocommerce stores, using the same PayPal account.Only this store has a lot of orders with a pending payment status. All others are normal

That will allow us to get more information that wouldn’t be appropriate for a public forum, such as login credentials for the site that isn’t working. Thanks! After reinstalling wordpress, the problem has been solved.

Can this topic be removed for privacy reasons？
