Too many posts / entire post showing

    Issue: I downloaded a standard theme that I’m editing myself however all of the posts are displaying on the first page and the entire post is showing (I’d like to limit it to possibly just showing the first 200 – 250 words. I know nothing about PHP so any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
