    1. Increased load, more than three times, on the processor and base.
    2. Slows down the work with articles.
    3. Pages amp removed from google index, canonical url error.(Accelerated Mobile Pages plugin)
    4. Sitemap rss not working
    5. Errors and warnings in server logs
    6. Other described problems
    The update was bad for SEO and site indexing.

    We are temporarily using version 3.7.1, now we are looking for an alternative. Websites should not disappear from search.

    @yworld,

    I’m really sorry that the update did not meet all your expectations! We are working really hard to resolve any of the issues that arise.

    1. We are looking into the performance issues that have arisen. Were there any specific pages or area of your site that you noticed increased processor use?
    2. Can you explain to me what part of the work with articles is slow for you?
    3. Have you updated to the latest version of Accelerated Mobile Pages? Their latest version should address the issues here.
    4. What exactly is not working with the sitemap RSS?
    5. Can you provide me with the warnings from your server logs?
    6. Any other issues that have arisen we’d love to work through with you.

    Again, I apologize for how this update has affected your site and we would love the opportunity to fix and make these things right.

    Thank you

    1. It’s hard to say, if you disable the plugin, everything will return to normal.
    2. Text analysis included
    3. Yes, but it was released before you changed hooks. Fixing them no longer works.
    4. https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/rss-sitemap-old-posts-only/
    5. Now this option is no longer there, rolled back the plugin version to 3.7.1 (And they are not covered in different topics here on the forum)

    @yworld,

    Regarding the canonical URL, I have just tested again and on our end, I am not seeing any issues related to the canonical URL.

    I believe what is happening is another plugin or your theme is also outputting a canonical URL which is causing there to be two (one from us, one from somewhere else). When we test with just our plugin and the AMP plugin, I see no issue here.

    What theme are you using on your site?

    What other plugins do you have installed?

    I’d love to see if we can replicate this if we can duplicate your site environment.

    Thanks!

    @yworld,

    Just to clarify, are you on the 1.0.72 version of the AMP for WP plugin as well as AIOSEO 4.0.8?

    I’m curious if this is related to a setting in AMP for WP or something like that. Here is what I see when I enable only those two plugins:

    https://a.supportally.com/iTdI6g

    As you can see the Canonical URL does not include the /amp extension, even though it is in the URL.

    What theme are you using on this test site? The default WordPress theme? (which year/version if so?)

    I notice that you have a .html extension in the URL. How is that being added to the URL in WordPress?

    I’ll try to change the settings AMP

    @yworld,

    Okay I can confirm that the /amp is being added when the permalink includes the .html. I’ll try to see if we can find a fix for that.

    We’ve just pushed out an update that should fix this issue. Can you update to 4.0.9 and see if that resolves it?

    Problem solved, thanks a lot!
    And the problem with the sitemap is solved.
