TL:DR – I want to back up all my posts, files, and (some) plugin data across all my sites (4) hosted on Go Daddy, completely delete everything on my go daddy account, and start fresh. What is the best way to do this?

Alright, I realized this was going to be a long post to explain why I would do such a thing, so I thought I’d put that up top, so with that out of the way here is the situation.

I have 4 websites hosted on my go daddy account all using wordpress. 3 of which are combined using multisite and the 4th is on a second wordpress install. A few things have happened over the past year that has caused problems with my website. First, I used a plugin to transfer my content from jeremycollier.com to aws.jeremycollier.com and it didn’t work right. After transferring, all the sites on the multisite began to lag a bit (sometimes badly) and soon after I was hacked and my account was used to send spam out. This was taken care of, but I guess the hole it left was never fixed, which I had no idea about at the time. I got hit with a viscous malware attack a few weeks ago (over 6000 infected files) and I thought everything would be okay after cleaning it up, but it resurfaced this week, even after 2 weeks of clean anti-malware scans.

So now I just wanted to get rid of everything, clean out my go daddy account, and start from scratch. That way there is no chance of the malware to pop back up like it did, plus I don’t need multisite now that godaddy allows you to install multiple copies of WordPress on the same account, so that’s another reason I want to do this.

The problem is I host a podcast on kvgt.jeremycollier.com and losing the RSS feed would not be good. I know there is ways to use the XML file to redirect to a new feed, but if at all possible I’d like to just be able to backup the powerpress plugin so that I don’t have to worry about that.

any solutions would really be appreciated!
