After using this plugin on a couple of my sites and being happy with it, I installed it on a few clients’ sites, and on 2 out of the 3, activation causing the entire admin area to stop working, and the browser throws an error about too many redirects.

I imagine this is being caused by a plugin conflict, and I also imagine this could be totally avoided without the stupid wizard popping up to force you into configuring settings right away.

Is there an option to sidestep this issue aside from just deleting the plugin via FTP and not using it?

FWIW, I was going to recommend that they purchase the Pro version, though I at least need to get the free version working first.

Thank you for using our plugin @advantagen and sorry to hear you are having a problem with the wizard. Most people we talk to like it because it helps them get started quite easily.

Anyway, to “bypass” the wizard add the following entry in the wp_wsal_options table on your website:

    option_name: wsal-wsal-setup-modal-dismissed
    value: yes

Can you please try the above and confirm if it works (this will confirm if the issue is related to launching the wizard or not)?

Looking forward to hearing from you and thank you in advance for your cooperation.
