    Hi!
I am using WP 4.7.2. and Discussion Board 2.2.0. Today I wanted update the discussion board to 2.2.1. After the update (which could be finished successfully) the login page wasnot reachable anymore and chrome, etc reported “too many redirects” (and IE Error 500).

Deactivation of Discussion Board 2.2.1 did also not reactivate the WP installation. So I had to restore the complete installation to a point, which was stored before I started the update.

    Kind regards
    Matthias

    Hi Matthias

Thanks for the message. I haven’t had anyone else report this yet with 2.2.1 – would it be possible to take a look at your site?

If so, please email me at info[at]catapultthemes.com

    Thanks

    Gareth

    Hi Matthias

I took a look at your site. I think, because you have other plugins enabled which redirect the user, there was a conflict. I have updated Discussion Board to 2.2.1 and changed the settings on the General tab so that the ‘Log-in form page’ and ‘Redirect on log-in’ fields are empty. Users are already directed to the log-in page before they can access the site so these two settings are redundant.

Let me know if you need anything else.
