Too Many Redirects Occurred trying to access the site

    Hi,

    We are experiencing “too many redirects occurred trying to access the site” error, we narrowed it down to “Ultimate Member Plugin” which is trying to redirect using permalinks in UM settings. We tried deleting .htaccess and changed different permalinks settings available in UM/WP but none worked.

    The issue occurs only after a user is logged in and navigate through home button to landing page, UM has a default page that it redirects the user using ‘/account/Username”. If account page isn’t available it throws 403 and after multiple redirects above error occurs.

    Any help is appreciated in fixing this.

    my previous question regarding “missing pages after installation” posted 4 days ago is still not answered, we understand the support questions posted here but if this question is left doormat we have to drop UM.

    1. Could you please provide a screenshot of the whole Access settings page?

    Please go to WP Admin > Ultimate Member > Settings > Access.

    since we are having issues with default pages that were not installed, we took some sample pages we think has associated data.

    We are using the default options from the start.

    Hi @indoorgreen

    You cannot have Account page as User page at the same time. User page is for the profile with your custom fields. Account page is for the user settings like notifications etc.

    I suggest that you separate the User Page and Account Page.
