Too Many Redirects Occurring (Fresh install)

I have installed a fresh copy of WordPress to my host.

Downloaded my files to /WP directory.

I have not changed any settings
I have not added any plugins
i have not changed Permerlinks

But my homepage is not working – receiving the safari message: “Too many redirects”

My standard Sample page is working ok though:
https://happylivingblog.com/wp/?p=1

But when viewing this Sample page above, if you click on the home button, you will see the “Too many redirects” message

Please can anyone help
