Too many requests generated by SMF

  • Hello,

    I did appreciate Social Media feather but testing my site speed with pingdom tools, I found many many requests that, after investigations, come from your plugin.

    Please consider that 61 requests just from SMF doubled my site load time !
    I’ve seen some thread about this issue (for me it’s kinda) but this is unacceptable.
    No choice than remove it…

  • It’s unreal how many redirect requests this plugin adds. My GTMetrix PageSpeed score for “Minimize Redirects” went from an F to an A after de-activating Social Media Feather.

    Pingdom score for “Minimize Redirects” went from an F to a C after de-activating Social Media Feather. Clearly most of the redirects were coming from your plugin.

    This must be a fairly recent change because I’ve been using this plugin for two years without this issue. No choice but to delete Social Media Feather.
