Too many results

I’m using Search Everything to allow the ability to search tags.
If I search for masculine – I get 345 posts
If I search for birthday – I get 462 posts
If I search for masculine birthday – I get 661 posts – anything that has either masculine OR birthday. I’m wanting to only get the things that have both masculine AND birthday.
If I search for masculine+birthday – I get the same 661 posts.
If I search for “masculine birthday” – I only get 15 posts (those which have the specific words masculine birthday in that order – doesn’t include items that have both the tags masculine and birthday).Suggestions?
