Too many visits

  • Hi,
    I installed WP Stats in a customer site. It seemed to work fine, but the last two days, it showed like 3.000 visits each day, but maybe 15-25 visitors. Also, I don’t see so many visits into other sections like page visits. I don’t think that is right (and there are not so many pages in the site for a crawler to make so many visits I think.

    After I noticed the first day, I installed a security plugin, to check if maybe it was an attack or something?

    I also activated the option in the settings to ignore visitors with more than 100 visits.

    Still, the second day happened the same.

    What could have happened and how can I solve it?
