    I just installed this plugin and I immediately noticed many similarities with two other galleries that I am testing: Flagallery and GMedia.
    I think it’s the same developer for all plugins.
    For this reason I’m asking for an answer: what’s the difference between these three plugins, both for the free and for the premium version.
    Essentially for the free version which is the real engine of the plugin as it seems clear to me that the premium offers only more skins.
    Having to change galleries plugin on my websites, I am very interested in understanding it since, by chance, I find that out of four possible choices, three are these galleries plugins and this one seems to be the newest.
    I would really appreciate an answer and an explanation of the differences.

    Thank you very much from a web grandma

    Flagallery – is the first plugin developed by me long time ago. It’s a simple gallery plugin which stores image files of each gallery in it’s own folder.

    Gmedia – is more powerful and complicated (for many users it is too complicated) plugin for managing files (not only images). There is own Media Library where you can assign tags and categories for media files, add them to the albums and create dynamic galleries with different conditions in the query. You can add GPS location for each image set covers for non-image files, add comments… Gmedia as a Flagallery uses separate folder to store all files and separate database table for storing data.

    WoowGallery – is the latest plugin developed by me. In my opinion it is the most intuitive and very powerful multifunctional gallery plugin which can show not only media files but also Posts, Pages and all Custom Post Types you have in your WordPress. Woowgallery uses default WordPress Media Library to store images and data and also sligtly enhance it’s functionality by adding taxonomy fields for media files. You can built Featured content galleries, Galleries with your Woocommerce products and prices, create dynamic galleries with different conditions, add Instagram feed to your website, organize galleries into albums and all this with a very simple drag and drop builder or by setting few conditional parameters. Soon there will be also image commenting, watermarks and more skins for galleries.

    Unlike other gallery plugins (where you need to pay for every option) my plugins gives you almost all functionality free and right in from the box.

    So, you can choose:
    1) simple gallery with separate from Media Library storage;
    2) powerful and a bit complicated gallery, for organizing your files separately from WP Media Library;
    3) intuitive and powerful multifunctional gallery which uses WP Media library for storing files.

    Hi,

    I have just install this plugin because I am very interested to use it. It has all the features that I required.However, I am facing a big issue. After installation, I started to create a new gallery. Upon clicking the Add Media button, I began to select the images that I want to add into the gallery and then click Insert to Gallery button. However, the selected images do not display in the gallery. I tried to publish the gallery and reopen the gallery to view it and it is howing 0 items. I have no issue on adding the cover image. It display very well.

    Another big issue is on album creation. After creating a new album, I began to select available gallery (in my case, my existing gallery only has cover image with no other content coz it’s not working). The plugin shows the available gallery for selection however, after selecting and clicking Insert to Album button, nothing happens.

    Please assist.
