too much memory issue

It says that it needs 60MB of memory and i have 168MB of memory but it says the plugin cannot be guarenteed to work right .
item/ needed/ have/ message

not be guaranteed.do i need to create a .htaccess in the plugin folder and limit the memory?
It also gives a blank page when i go to look at stats.
