• First of all, I think this is a great slideshow plugin and I’m using it on several pages of my website. The only thing I’ve noticed that when viewing any of the slideshows on my iPad in portrait format or on my iPhone, there’s a good deal of blank space beneath the slideshow area that leaves a ton of space between it and the content below. It looks great on my desktop browsers and on my iPad when viewing in landscape format.

Are there any ideas on how to fix this?

The space under the slideshow is probably created because when the website is viewed in landscape mode, the website is usually wider than it is in protrait. The slideshow gets smaller when going into portrait, but its height remains the same. As the image does adjust its height, a white space is created.

If you want the whitespace below the slideshow to disappear, you should probably set the “Shrink slideshow’s height when width shrinks” setting to “Yes”. The “Proportional relationship” will appear, which you can set to the same dimensions as your images to make everything fit correctly.

Thank you Stefan, I will give that a try and see how it looks. ??
