Too slow, long load time

    Having installed the Ribosome theme, I noticed that my website’s load time increased significantly; especially the ping time increased significantly. Can anybody help, or does anbybody else have speed issues?

    My page’s temporary url is : https://www.ditib-wiesbaden.de/wordpress

    When I change to another theme, the page is fast again.

    I am thinking about buying the pro version, will this change anything?

    Hi hboybars,

    I visited the url you indicate and load time is normal, fast. No themes inluences the ping.

    The main purpose of a ping is to see if a particular computer or server is accessible from another. A high ping at a given time may be due to your own internet connection or a server problem, but not the theme you have installed.

    Thank you for your quick reply. It might ne my personnel perception or just a coincedence but it’s now really faster reachable than before my post.

    I don’t think that this has something to do with my internet connection as I tried different connections (at home, at work, with 4G) .

    It may be caused by my host server, I will try to contact them.

    But good to know, that it does not come from the theme.
    By the way, do you have an overview of the differences between the free and premium version in english? I just could found a comparison in spanish..

    Hi,

    Go to Appearance > Ribosome Help menu. In the right column you will see the main features of the pro version that are not in the free version.
