Took hours and Google Chrome does not scroll anymore

  • I downloaded (and bought, because I had to because of the file size, if I knew that upfront maybe I would not have downloaded it in the first place…) the WP site while it already worked with an other (free) plugin. But there was the problem that on a Windows computer, running Google Chrome, the scrolling did not work.
    That’s why I bought this one, hoping the scrolling would work, but also in this one the scrolling does not work. The downloading and uploading took me a few hours (while being on fiber internet, so it should be very fast) because it did not go any further, so I had to reinstall WordPress a few times on my new host.
    For me it is not doing what I expected for a payed service.

    Could you explain what you mean by the scrolling does not work?
    What version of WordPress are you using?
    If your Internet is very good but your hosting plan is not or you have very large files, I am afraid it still takes longer for export/import to finish.
