Took my site down

  • The plugin took my site down (503 errors) once I hit about 25 users in chat. I’m on a decent VPS – 10gig, 5 core – and I was running the Ultra Lightweight Ajax, and it still took the site down for the entire time it was active.

    Thank you for your review. Wise Chat is based on Ajax and therefore it is very easy to install and maintain. You don’t have to separately run a chat server which can be time consuming. However, in certain cases it requires more processing power. A cluster of few VPS servers would be much better option to handle such traffic.
