• I have been churning out a lot of wordpress sites for clients lately. Some are very basic, some are modified premium themes and others are more customized. Obviously, they all have unique plugins, code tweaks, etc.

Is there a tool for keeping track of them all? Like an interface that lists all of the sites, what plugins I used, what version of WP you used and when it was updated. Maybe you could keep notes on what template files you modified so that you wouldn’t lose them when you upgrade. And it would be searchable.

If not, are there any other tools out there that people use to keep track of all their installs?

  • There are a variety of WP managing interfaces – each has pros and cons – I’m not sure if any one has everything you are looking for

I personally use infinitewp for my basics, as far as managing goes

I’ve dabbled with managewp as well, that was pretty cool for the bit that I used it

You can check them out, I know there are others as well you can search for (or others can suggest)

Thanks Voodoo. I’m trying out Infinite WP right now. It seems like a great solution, thank you. If anyone else has any recommendations I’d love to hear them.
