• Hello,
I migrated from Blogger to WP and imported all my posts, but I am having a lot of text formatting issues. I have been going into to the text and making manual changes, because any changes I make in “Visual” do not take effect.

However, I am getting weird paragraph formatting after images, where the image text has a space that I can not get rid of.

Do you have a tool that will allow me to edit the blocks when I enable the “show blocks” tool? I have tried cutting them but this has not worked. Deleting them in “Text” has not worked either. Even trying to redo the post has not worked.

    Any suggestions?

    Hello,
I was able to finally fix most of these of the paragraph issues in visual editor after reading many articles about “WP formatting issues and resolutions.” However, I would still like to know if there is a way to do this with one of your tools.

I am still having text formatting issues, even though I have tired to resolve them using your font size tool.

Looking at the example page above, all your images are wrapped in DIVs. This is probably left-over from the import and seems to be causing you the troubles. DIVs are generally not used in WordPress posts. They are used in the theme for layout, etc.

As far as I see you’ve managed to fix all errors. However to do that automatically the WordPress importer will have to be changed/fixed. That can be pretty complicated ??

Another option would be to try to make your there style the existing (imported) HTML properly. I see you’ve got a child theme already, that’s the proper way to do it.

Do you have a tool that will allow me to edit the blocks when I enable the “show blocks” tool?

At the bottom of the editor there is a “Elements path” row. You may need to click on the “Toolbar Toggle” button and show the second row of buttons to see it. There you can select which “block” you are applying changes to.

Using font size to fix spacing issues usually doesn’t work well. Would be better if that can be done from the CSS.
