toolbar edit options missing homepage

  • Hello, I’, new to WP.When I try to edit the homepage, the top toolbar icons have been replaced with text, there is no yoast SEO option, when i click; options>preferences ‘panels’ is missing, (it only shows ‘general’ & ‘blocks’). Also the block bar edit box only shows text, not the icons. For the rest of the pages everything is fine. Does anyone know what might be the problem? Thanks

  • Hi @foxleytom,

    Try deactivating plugins one by one to isolate if there is a plugin causing the issue.
    Try switching to a default WordPress theme, to check if maybe the issue was coming from your theme.
