    Great plugin!

Recently, the Tools (such as Check File Permissions) have stopped working. When I click Check File Permissions, I get this console error in my browser:

VM1065:1 Uncaught (in promise) SyntaxError: Unexpected token < in JSON at position 0

The “Run” button appears as if it’s checking the file permissions but it never does. It just keeps running with no results shown.

    Any suggestions? Thank you

@fijisunshine have you tried checking for a plugin conflict? Deactivate all your site’s plugins except iTSec and if the issue resolves, re-activate the plugins one at a time to isolate the cause of the problem. You can also temporarily switch to a default WordPress theme to rule out the possibility of theme conflict.

Thank you, @shanedelierrr. The issue is now resolved.

When I loaded the Tools page, several file requests were getting 404 errors and they weren’t loading. I reset the permalinks on my site and then these 404 errors went away. Now the Tools work again.

    Thanks again!
