Tooltip dictionary plugin with multi language support. Any advice?

  • Client has a request, to add a dictionary function to her blog site. Here is the request:

    1. Activate by mouse over / double-click on the word

    2. Showing the explanation in popup / tooltip

    3. Dictionary can support multiple languages. Guess user can switch languages on the fly

    I searched, and only find a close one CM Tooltip Glossary. Any idea what plugin can do this?

  • Cm Tooltip Glossary does support while using WPML and we are in the process of making all the plugin functionality fully compatible with WPML

    Thank you for the reply. I don’t know if I explained it correctly.

    Can CM Tooltip Glossary supports dictionary in another language? I am not talking about WPML. I know and used WPML before, don’t have any plan to use WPML. It is just an english site. Client wants to add the dictionary function, while reader can use a dictionary in their own language, not the website.

    I can’t see this in CM plugin, and no demo or screenshot showing this.

    So probably i miss understood you. We support any UTF characters so any language can work

    Okay. The site is an educational newspaper site in only one language, English.

    Client like to have such a dictionary plugin, which can offer different edition base on the reader (‘s choice). It maybe English -> English, or English -> Spanish, or English -> French, etc.

    So as my first answer. This is only possible while using WPML….
