    Hi,

Thank you for your hard work and for the awesome support.
I am using the events manager plugin and the wp fullcalendar plugin. I’ve noticed something weird that happens in IE (I tested in IE9 and below). From time to time the tooltip instead of displaying the right content it displays 1. Do you know what might cause that?

    Thank you!

    Hi,

I saw this happening in IE 9 and IE8 (this bug happens from time to time), on a Windows 7 machine. I don’t have a screenshot of it, but what happens is that instead of loading the content the tooltip displays 1.

    Thanks for all your help!

    Hi,

I tried this one and seems to be working fine on my test site; do you have a sample link for us to see? btw, I used win7 and ie9

    Hi,

I have it locally on my machine for now:( I will check the ajax request when this happens and I will let you know what is the response.

Thank you for helping me with this issue.
    Best!

does the event have any content in it?

any other difference between that event and the ones that work you can think of?

    Hi Marcus,

Thank you for your reply. The events have content. It is very weird because sometimes the tooltip displays the correct information and sometimes when it take more to load instead of displaying the correct content it displays 1. That is when it happens when it takes more to load.

    Thanks!

this might be due to a slow server and the request times out… does it not happen on other browsers?

    Hi Marcus,

I didn’t see this happening in other browsers. It only happens in IE.

    Thanks!

    Hi Marcus,

I replicated this again in IE, this time it displayed 0 instead of displaying the content.
In the Network tab in IE9 displays that there are received 247B, Taken: 10.26s, the Response Body is empty.

how many events do you have?

that’s a very long time for a server response, especially just for an ajax call returning a snippet of text.

    Hi Marcus,

There are 80 events, but that long response server happens only when the tooltip displays 0 or 1, when the tooltip displays the correct content the response time is less than 1s.
I’ve noticed that this issue happens when I click fast on many events (I don’t wait for the tooltip to appear for an event and I click on other event) .

Thank you very much for helping me with this!

this must be due to a server error then so it just times out.

I’d need to see it in action to know more, but one thing you could check is your php error logs to see if there are any clues there
