Tooltip popup can't be cloesd

    Hello, I can’t get the tooltip (TablePress Feature: Moving rows and columns) to be closed,

    It is placed over the top of the table, and is kind of bothering me to edit the content in the table.

    How can I get it closed, and not show up again

    Using Wp 4.4.2 and table press 1.7 and added extension DataTables Counter Column (that I don’t get to show any numbers in the count column either).

    Please help me fast!

    Hi,

    thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble.

    This indicates that something is broken with the JavaScript code on your site.
    Can you therefore please try again after temporarily deactivating all other plugins and after switchting to a WordPress default theme like Twenty Sixteen? That way, we can find what’s causing this.

    Hi,

    This depends on how your other plugins work. Unless they delete their plugin’s data, everything should be fine. Of course, you should always have a backup anyways.

    Note that a simpler option might be to check the JavaScript error log in your browser’s Developer Tools. It might show JS error messages that could also point to the plugin that causes this.

    As a very first step, you could also try re-installing TablePress from a fresh download, to rule out that plugin files are corrupted or missing. Your tables will be safe when doing this, as they are stored in the database.

    did you try those suggestions about re-installing TablePress and checking with all other plugins deactivated?
