• Hi there!
Hope you are doing great! I am using Tooltipy V5.2 and I am facing TTFB (Time to First Byte) slowness. I checked all my installed plugins one by one and came to know that Tooltipy is causing this problem.
This plugin is increasing TTFB time 1.3 (without Tooltipy) to 2.8 (with Tooltipy) seconds. It is causing 1.3 to 1.5 seconds increase in TTFB. I have written 440 Definitions and I have repeated words on the website. Please guide me how I can overcome this problem. Here are snapshots of settings. Please guide me

Hi @bilal43 and sorry for being that late

I guess this is an optimization issue that should be handled by me when will be available ?? but according to the big number of the keywords I thing this is totally normale and this is the good time to start thinking about installing a cache system in the site, please pick one and test then let me know

    Best regards,

Hi @lebleut thanks for your time.

We have already setup WP Rocket Pro plugin for Caching and make every possible Optimization on our side (DB optimization, Plugin Filtering, Images Smushing, JS Deffered). We are also using Dedicated Server with good resources.

Tooltippy Keywords were loading on page startup that was taking a huge of TTFB time around 18 seconds. We deffered Ajax response of Keywords now its around 3 Seconds.

I can see that my WP and Active 25 Plugins are taking 1.1 to 1.3 seconds for TTFB and this single plugin is adding 1.3 to 1.5 seconds in TTFB.

I can also see there is Tooltippy OOP 6.0 on github. Can you please release it as soon as possible. Maybe it will solve my problem

    Kind Regards

    Hi back @bilal43

About Tooltipy 6.0, in fact I’m trying to find the time to continue working on it to make the first release and maybe this topic will encourage me to move forward as soon as possible

You can click on “Watch” on it’s repository page ( https://github.com/lebleut/Tooltipy-OOP ) so you can keep notified whenever I make any commit

    Best regards

    Hi @lebleut
I am just curious about this setting “Load all keywords”. Can we reduce No. of definitions to load? Please see this image.
