Top 10 plugin – include custom post types?

    I am using the top 10 plugin to display top 10 popular posts, but I am trying to use many different custom post types across the site, I have noticed the popular widget only pulls in posts from the main ‘posts’ category, is their a way to get around this, maybe a function so that wordpress see’s all of the custom post types as posts as well?
