Top 1posts of Category

Hello

Firstly thank you for awesome plugins. Im already using 2 of yours and it works awesome ??
My questions:
1) Id like to show at category pages the top list of posts only from this one category. Is it possible ? If not, can anybody advice me how to make function which would allow that (which I would then put to archive.php and choose category number to it) ?

2) Id like to have one top list horizontally below header. I saw there was a topic about it but creator was using only shortcode, but again, I would like to put function to archive.php and top posts would be horizontally. Can anybody help me with this ?
