Top Banner in blog page

Hello team and thanks for the great work.
I am using transparent header for my site.
Besides being transparent all elements of my header are white.
For this reason, even if I set the non-transparency condition for my blog page, the header is not visible.

Is it possible to insert a banner at the top of the default blog page?
If I insert a banner at the top with a dark colored photo, my header will also be visible on the blog page.

Otherwise are there other solutions? Thank you.
